1981... Cavalea Continental Freight, Inc. began operation based at the residence of its founder, Anthony Cavalea, with garage facilities leased for mechanical services and storage. 1980s and 1990s... Cavalea grew and became in industry leader in intermodal trucking and container storage servicing the Chicago hub. 2005... 20 acres of vacant land purchased in Will County and construction begun for new intermodal facility. 2006... Cavalea was awarded the permits to store and stack intermodal containers COFC at their new facility in Will County near BNSF Logistics Park.
